Forget brining. Who needs the extra sodium? Soak your poultry in dilute lime juice/orange juice solution. Add a tablespoon or so of cumin, three or four bulbs of squashed garlic, some oregano, and a half cup or so of white wine.

I've never tried brining fish - it generally seems to be salty enough without adding more. However, brining is a great trick for juicier poultry - especially if you are BBQing.

I might be intrested in some endlers. I don't know if I want a whole bag of them though. maybe just a pair or trio?

I keep thinking of getting rid of my cardinal tetras, would anyone be intrested?

For those who are not CCA members, this is the time to join so bring Cash guys and gals.

New Members will have their name announced at the meeting kind of like the "The Price is Right TV Show" and you'll have your name in Green on the Forum instead of that dull blue.

Plus, Capital Cichlid members have access to private parties (CCA BBQ), VIP Field Trips, Breeding Contests and bunch of other fun stuff. So Come on down! You'll be the next contestant on the "Price is Right!"
