Me too. How do I find out what my number of posts were at the beginning of this challenge...or how close I am to 'winning a fish'?

Marge you have made it to the promised land!

Tell me about the fish you have and I'll see if I have something that can fit in with them

If you need a small piece of driftwood or some rocks let me know. I also have a few 25w heaters (very little use on them).

A few other people are close to the 2nd free whatever!

HA! The only dead fish here are the kind that you cook, Double o.
Those darn fish sticks are disgusting though and I'm ready for nice baked cod. Mmmm or salmon patties - it's been YEARS since I had salmon patties!

You're right, George, thanks for making sure we all understood that!

Sorry, since my injury, I haven't been able to do much with fish (except feed them) and I don't know what 95% of them are, anyway.
So yes, I don't have many "meaningful" fish posts, although there are dozens of tanks of some really gorgeous fish downstairs.
In spite of that, I tried to post here to help keep the board active and interesting and cheer on the people that DO know what they're doing with fish.
Alot of people here only give the fishes latin names, so I go to fishprofiles.com and find out what they're talking about, since I'm such a novice.
I try to keep my mouth closed on the things that I don't know anything about~~

DC! Don't take offense! I think they're ribbing you. Mike and George have a dry sense of wit, if you haven't noticed. I love your posts, I get a chuckle when you write. You are so good at it.

Donna,

ignore the meanies :smashfreakB: ; girls always get picked on!! (If there were no children - of any age - present I would give you the wisdom gained from Way Too Many 400 level Psych. classes and explain why.) :p

Your replies to my "Discus problems" have been VERY useful - the orange whatevers I was having problems with have re-spawned and the babies are about half an inch - fin to fin. Daddy got pulled at about 12 days so he is sulking in another tank; hopefully building up a good supply of 'you know what'.

Pics to follow later today in the Breeding section.

Thanks & hope you're healing well!!!

Paul.

Amanda you have reached the 100 post mark (a while ago actually). I had you marked as notified, but I do not see it anywhere in the thread. Sorry about that!!
What are you looking for? i still have plenty of afras and your dad is getting a few fish from me at the meeting (we could add to his fish count or let him have 1 for free).
Fish
Rocks
Driftwood
Heaters

I also have some old tanks 20highs and 40breeders. They are drilled and are far from a "show tank", but they hold water.

Lighten up. You only pick on the ones you love. The ones you hate get ignored.

How could I ever post if I kept my mouth closed on the things that I didn't know anything about~~

Is this a serious thread or what?
