Hey Dan - Welcome! There are a number of us that keep featherfins and sifters. I've got an adult trio of Foai Moliro Marble Green and about 20+ 1" fry. Maybe the same as yours as they were sold as furcifer, but most of the current pics and descriptions identify them as foai. I've got 4...

simple and effective way to raise fry.

Do you have to remove the sponge and turn off the air to feed? Seems a bit cumbersome especially if you feed fry two or more times a day. Other than that, good idea.

    Campisi, Charlie 150 points

Some (bad) pics for first check. First two are cyatho foai moliro marble green (in a breeder box with the kilesa I got from you). Third pic is paracyp nigripinnis blue neon.

    Are you getting my Email's

Yes I am. PS - I am not sure my "yes" should count as a full post towards my induction into the 1000 post club. Please have Li give me credit for .5 of a post. Thank you.

ECC & CCA GROUP BUY W/ DAVES RARE FISH

Thanks anyway. Knew it was a reach. Didn't lose the 5th furcifer until after I moved them when I left your house on Monday, Sarah! Somehow it managed to disappear out of a tightly lidded 75g with very little decoration. I'm guessing it's caught in an escargot shell somewhere. :(

ECC & CCA GROUP BUY W/ DAVES RARE FISH

Sarah - I didn't see them on the list, but if Dave is looking ... Would you mind asking about cy. furcifer sibwesa? I can take small ones @1". Got 5 at the ECC auction and one disappeared, so I am down to 4. Thanks!

    Wow. Big time. Thanks Li!

OK, what are you bringing in JUNE

George, I won this tank at the last auction and have no space for it, so I was going to put it back in this month's auction.

    Food for the May meeting

Pat - I agree and appreciate all the generosity of the people who bring food. I do miss the meatballs and wings though. Weren't they in the club budget? Does the club not budget for food any more? Not a complaint; merely a question. :)

    Thank You CCA

Kudos back at ya, Bill. I was on the fence til late Saturday night before I cleared the day and made the road trip up. I won one lot out of the first five auctioned (cyathopharynx furcifer sibwesa juvies) and didn't win another bag all day. I am so glad I made the trip Had a blast, talking...

April meeting / what are you bringing

/complaint on I'm not a mod and this is merely a member request, but it would be nice if this thread was kept to items people were bringing to the auction. It's become a monthly want to sell/want to buy thread and we have a separate forum area for that. /complaint off

No more blackworms in the fridge

Hey Lonny - My wife would love this. My 4 y.o. still tells her favorite worm story even though this happened a year ago... See, I kept the worms in our second refrigerator in the basement storage room, near the tanks. Every morning, I'd rinse the worms, divide them into several plastic cups...

    2x4 Axial Strength

That's exactly it. The weakest point in your support is not the 2x4s, but the fasteners. If the fasteners can support the weight AND the holes you've drilled don't fracture the wood, you'll be fine. Stands have been constructed the way you've done it and held weight (a certain CCA President...

    Pressure Crack- HELP

I agree that's your problem right there. If you put a shim under the tank frame, you are creating a gap between the frame and stand, or in this case, table. The tank may be level but if there is a gap between the frame and stand, once you add water, the weight will flex the glass and crack it...
