So Who's Going To The Aca

Speaking of conserving energy... would anyone like to share a ride to the ACA in Atlanta (departing Gaithersburg early next Fri AM and returning late on Sun)?

I'm driving (my 4 cyl Saab gets about 28 mpg on the highway)...but right now it's just me.

Let me know...

Dude, I'm traveling in the Mad Scientist's Delorean, which has a flux capacitor man. I mean we'll be there in a blink of an eye. LOL!!!

I'm taking the Delorean to the barbecue today so I can pass through the buffet line twice at the same time.

...but you'll show up at the ACA meeting in 1986 (wherever that was)!

I sure wish I was going. I just talked to Rick Borstein (GCCA & FAAS) last night and he was talking about it. Appears that CCA will have more folks than GCCA this year. He also had nice things to say about Francine! If you run into him say hello for me...I am already setting aside time next year - I am not going to miss that

Reality: The flux capacitor took a serious hit - As did my left pocket.

I am driving down with Amanda Thursday & unless someone steps up with a serious (cash) offer to share my second room I will be sleeping on the floor in a room with two woman (no joy) and drinking heavily (no real change there).

Maybe I'll get lucky and pass out on the same couch as one of Rusty's clan!! :jumpy:

TTL - Wish me luck,

Yep, that's right, I am bowing out from the ACA this year due to some unforeseen circumstances.

The day of the BBQ, my mother had to be taken to the hospital because she fell down the stairs. I kept this info quiet from the party, but she ended up with a fractured shoulder and is doing better now.

I guess it will have to be next year for me as far as the ACA.

Good Luck to all our Members who are traveling to the ACA. Make sure you make us look GOOD! And bring back tons of fish for our auction and lots of stories from the event. Please take plenty of pictures of the whole event so that we can feel like we were actually there, OK.

Have Fun Guys!!!

Sub,
Sorry to hear about your mother in law. I was looking forward to meeting you!! I hope all is well with what happened.

By the way; when is the NEXT auction? I might bring some extra fishes so you all can auction them off as part of my contribution to the club... Thanks
