    well the female and fry have moved away from the cave (but still along the driftwood). I saw one of the fry get eaten by a tetra :( contemplating moving them.... but I don't really have anywhere except a fry trap....

    Last week I saw the male go into the females cave. Since then she hasn't let anyone near it (even the male) and hasn't come out much, even to eat. This morning my husband said "wow, that little fish is chasing all the other fish to the other side of the tank". Turned out it was the male as well...

    could be lime. lime does that dissapearing trick. with either calcium or lime you could try viniger to clean it. technically a chemical cleaning process. but shouldn't bother the fish after it is rinsed.

    I really love the amazonia one. but it is waaaayyy to big for my 75. it is like 22" front to back. It was designed for a 6' tank I think.
