I was a concert junkie in the 80's-90's. I saw the Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer tour in the early 90's back when Anthrax still had Joey singing (Alice in Chains opened the show). I forget the name of that "super" tour but it sounds like they are still doing it. I almost broke my ankle in the pit for Indians, I remember limping away after this song and watching the rest of their set from my seat. I wan't going near the pit when Slayer was on...even if I wasn't hurt. The people were just too crazy for me. I got a black eye in the pit at RATM first tour from some dudes boot. I don't go in pits anymore.

Hands down one of my favorite bands. I played bass for a long time and when ever asked about influence Steve Harris is always the first name to come up. Last time I saw them was at the old Hammer Jacks circa '95, I got to meet Steve, incredibly laid back guy for being an icon.

David, I saw Theory on the Crue2 tour. I've gotta say, even tho it's not my kinda music... they sounded VERY good. The Theory fans had to LOVE IT!!! I was there to see Godsmack, who IMO OWNED that tour!!! The Crue didn't stand a chance following Godsmack, I've never seen so many people leave while the headliner was on stage. The moshpit for this song was absolutely amazing, and I was right down there lovin it!!!

(I've seen them live 5 times and the drum battle is completely amazing, I dare anyone to watch this and tell me they're not impressed!!! ;) )

Yeah, he's a living legend around here too. Wrathchild was formed in Martinsburg, West BY GOD Virginia :lol:

Unfortunately I wasn't here back then, but I did get to meet him at the Constitution Hall when I bought the "Ultimate Pimp Package" thru "I Love All Access". We were guaranteed seats in the first ten rows, backstage pass, meet and greet... ended up 2nd row center stage :party0007:

They've got a new album coming out soon and I have a feeling before the year is out I'll get to see them for the 6th time and maybe even 7th depending on where they play around here... I've been known to make a roadtrip to see a good show, and they definitely qualify :cool:

I caught Godsmack opening for a Black Sabbath reunion at Hersey Park sometime around '98-99. I wasn't a huge fan of theirs going into the show but I was impressed. I saw warthchild a few times in the 80's at HammerJacks...I really miss that place, every friday and saturday you could catch a national act for $1-3 cover and you could drink while watching the show.

This guy is one of the cd's I'll be dusting off. I saw him on The Tonight Show back when Leno was still a fill in. He was show boating it up, going under the hood and struming the strings and incorporating it into the music. Some of his orginal stuff is pretty good. After watching a Punk rocker slam the piano like that I went out and bought the cd the next day.

Awesome stuff Ed, love the chili peppers and Ted Nugent is a beast!!! I've seen him live a half dozen times or more and he was always entertaining to say the least. ;)

in 2004 or 5 i got to meet ted and scully (singer from godsmack) at the unknown distance range in edison range, camp pendleton, ca which is where i used to work it was pretty cool to watch the master fire one of our crappy m-16's

I love that version of 21st Century Schizoid Man. Threw me off at first with the slower tempo but once the she started covdring the vocals I was hooked.
