    Nannacara aureocephalus spawn

I have four "fry" that came from my original spawn back in the fall. I guess they're not fry anymore because this morning I found the largest female guarding eggs in the very same little flower pot she was hatched in. I also found the male chasing the other 2 females down trying to coerce them...

    Aequidens metae spawn

I picked up this pair from Rapps a few months back. They spawned for the second time on Monday. Unfortunately, I can't remove the wood that the eggs are on and I can't remove the tankmates. I hope to be able to remove some fry if the pair do a good enough job of protecting the eggs.

    Archocentrus Centrarcus spawn

My second spawn with these, lost the first spawn due to tiny holes in breeder nets...removed them from parents one day free swimming and they are doing fine in there own five gallon plastic tank with sponge filter and heater. started feeding them with golden pearls and as they grew gave them...

Green Dragons and Alto. Comp. Spawn

Over Martin Luther King weekend, I got this awesome but stupid idea to rearrange my living room furniture which meant having to tear down my 90 bowfront display tank in order to move it. The surprise came when I found a shell and 'toaster' cave with eggs from my WC comps. Then I uncovered about...

    Thorichthys Meeki Spawn

I reported this in another thread back when they spawned (12/9/13). The fry are doing well. I moved them from a breeder box to a 10 gallon to grow out today. I'll get some pics up soon.

    Astatheros Longimanus Spawn

I went ahead and pulled some wigglers from my pair of longimanus that spawned this week. I'll get some pictures once they are big enough to see. The fry are really tiny. Hope they will take to golden pearls easily.

    Neolamprologus leleupi spawn

Here's another spawn I'm a bit late reporting....I noticed Neolamprologus leleupi wigglers on Jan 7th.

    Metriaclima cyneusmarginatus spawn

I'm a little behind on reporting this spawn.....I stripped two Pseudotropheus cyneusmarginatus females on Jan 21st.

    Second pleco spawn!

Just over a month after the first... Are these guys bunnies or something? No wonder Dennis always kept them in separate tanks until he wanted a batch of plecos.

    Neolamprologus leleupi spawn

I pulled a batch of these out of their cave about two weeks ago. I went ahead and removed them since they were in a pretty rough community tank with a comp and a bunch of Vics....not a conducive environment for raising fry. I've had them in a Marina hang-on breeder box. They absorbed their...

    Apostogramma panduro spawn

Hope this batch makes it....I saw free-swimmers about a week ago and they're still hanging in there!

    Thorichthys Meeki Spawn

I pulled a whole mess of wigglers from my unexpected pair of meeki yesterday. Not much to look at yet, as they aren't even free swimming yet. It's pretty satisfying when a fish you aren't actively working with spawns.

    First pleco spawn!!!

The regular ancistrus plecos I got from Christine back in April or May have their first spawn. Dad is guarding eggs in a dwarf cichlid cave (yeah, he doesn't even fit all the way in there) in the 150... Not sure they won't immediately get eaten, but still, pretty cool.

    ANOTHER BETTA SPAWN!!!

Hey all! I put a green and red male Crowntail betta splendens with a red Halfmoon female betta splendens yesterday. They are just starting to embrace!!! The courtship was light-speed fast, and now they are trying to embrace correctly. Two out of three times the females slips out of his...

    First Spawn!

I had my first pepper cory spawn last week. I removed the breeding group and started my watch on the eggs. The eggs took forever to hatch. Wednesday morning when I checked I noticed movement on the bottom of the tank.... fry.. :). I am feeding them powered fish food, which I soak so that it...

    archocentrus centrarcus spawn

Got six of these from our president Jon Clarke, have had them in a community 75 with some Geo. Steindachneri. They paired off and turned very dark, seems they have laid eggs on a rock at one end of the tank and are defending the eggs vigorously. My first spawn of this species, I imagine I should...

    Nannacara aureocephalus spawn

I found the female of the pair I set up in the 20 gallon guarding a teeny tiny flower pot full of eggs this morning from some evil female Badis badis... I think they are improving her maternal instinct... just hoping she manages to keep the fry safe from them. Dad was hiding in the far corner...

    cory cat spawn!

When I came home from school I caught the corys spawning. The other corys where eating a few of the other eggs but, since this is their first spawn in one of my tanks my expectations are very low. Here are some pics: Here are the eggs And this is the female about to lay them Sorry about...
