Ideas for a 75G no brace canopy

I am looking for a ideas on how to make or what to use for a canopy for a 75G no brace. I have even considered making a faux brace just for the glass tops to sit on.

    Should I be worried?

Just filled a 55g, and the center brace has slightly separated (i.e., broken) away from the back edge of the top frame. Does this mean the glass is bowing, or I am in some other danger of all 55g going on the floor???
