fixtures

How do you determine which is the right replacement tube for a given light fixtures. Can i switch between high output and regular tubes? or do i have to stick to one...how do they differ? How about watts, i am not sure what my current tubes are and if they were compatible with the fixture...

I have a 36" black 4x39 Watt TEK T5 fixture with Giesmann bulbs. There are two switches, and each one controls two bulbs. It is in very good condition. I have been using two of them over a 125 planted tank. I have replaced one with an LED fixture and will do the same with the second TEK later...

I just bought one of these. I think it's a pretty good deal. People at plantedtank.net regards the catalina lights pretty highly. These have individual reflectors which increases the light output. This one has 4, so I am looking forward to it...
