Speaker Bio

Father Fish is an old time fish keeper. For 70 years he has kept fish. These are his simple, easy, guaranteed methods for keeping healthy, happy tropical fish in your aquarium. Louis Foxwell adopted the role of Father Fish many years ago when he decided to open a tropical fish store as a retirement business. He had been a missionary, following in his father's footsteps for 25 years. Both men served the same congregation of deaf worshipers. Lou's grandmother started him on his lifelong hobby. He was a Founder on the original Board of Directors of the National Aquarium as the chairperson of the community relations committee and a member of the Search Committee. Lou has worked in nearly every level of the fish industry. His experience is broad and deep. Through the Father Fish label you may buy Plants, Soil Supplement, Pond Culture, Microfauna and more. Lavender/wc gourami for sale

4 lavender females + a wild caught male threespot gourami for sale, all for $85. All were $20-25 ea originally. Biggest female is about 3.5", male is 2.5". Male is a little beat up now because of the big female but should heal. Meet for pickup in Frederick, MD, can meet halfway. Darker picture is of the male, green gravel picture is of the females (yes I know there's a male in there) at the store when I bought them. They still look the same.1000044172.png1000044171.png

Blue dwarf gouramis/German Blue Rams/Bolivian Rams

Hi! Just joined today hoping to get some great info. I have a well-cycled 55G that’s been running for about a year. It has 6 Cory Cats, 6 dwarf blue gouramis, 6 black loaches, and a bunch of guppies. The guppies will eventually go back to the 20G.

I want to add Bolivian Rams and German Blue Rams but I keep reading conflicting articles that it’s ok and not ok. I don’t know which to believe. The tank has plenty of floating plants, planted plants, rocks, driftwood and sand. Temp is set at 78F. Parameters all read 0ppm and pH is 6.7. Any thoughts on these 3 types of fish living peacefully together? Are 5 of each fish too many?

Rehoming Synodontis Catfish

Hello! We are downsizing our aquariums and have two four year-old Synodontis Decorus (Maybe a hybrid?) that need new homes. One is about 5 inches and the other is about 7 inches (I can try to get more accurate lengths if needed).

The rehoming fee is $10 each.

I am in Ellicott City, but can meet in Silver Spring at certain times.

WTT: Pond Mag 2400 for something smaller

A Pond Mag 1200 would probably fit the bill.
