I am looking for a hood or a glass lid for a standard 29 gal tank. i went to petco and i really don't want to be down $40 for it. Craigslist didn't have any available either.

Try Drs. Foster&Smith... I think I got lids at a good price from them when I couldn't find anyone selling old ones.

Thank you very much for your help. I didn't know about Drs. Foster&Smith. they have amazing things and they're doing their Summer Sale.

You're welcome. They don't have the best prices on everything, but they do have the best prices on lids and very good customer service.
