Hey all,
Thanks for the welcome. I've been keeping freshwater tanks since I was a kid (equipped with a bubbling diver and plastic plants) and really got into it when I got to college. My next door neighbor had a setup of mixed Africans in a 55. It really caught my eye and while I was far from home and on a very limited budget, setup a small planted community tank and became hooked. In the eight years since college, I've really gotten into keeping all types of tanks. Currently, I have:
-110g mixed Malawi tank (some Haps, Mbuna and a couple of Peacocks)
-45g high-tech planted community (mostly Rainbows)
-20g low-tech planted community (mean fish that don't get along)
-35g mostly LPS reef
-20g red-eared slider wet/dry
-10g breeder (just set up)
I've been to a couple of WAMAS and CMAS meetings and really have been itching to make one of y'all's meetings. I had spoken with Pat over email and was going to try to get to the meeting last weekend, but moving got the best of me. I hope to get to the next one and look forward to chatting with y'all.
Besides fishkeeping, I'm into Autocross (and the associated car repairs lol), video games, mountain biking and (lately) getting my wedding planned for next fall.
