Ok, i guess if you insist...

I am currently living in Missouri, and have lived here my whole life but in January i will be moving to the aberdeen area or somewhere nearby, i really dont know yet..heh.

Anyhow I am 22 and I am a civilian that works for the US Army doing computer crap. I sit around all day and look at forums a lot too. I still get paid the same either way.

I have been an active member of the MCA (midwestcichlid.com) and HAAS (Kansas City Aquarium Society) for about four years or so. I went to college at Nebraska and earned a BS in Computer Science, and while i was there I also enjoyed winning Nebraska Breeder of the Year for the MCA, and also took home 3 First place plaques from the MCA EXPO 2007. I have kept some tangs but have always been fixed on malawians.

About a year ago I had a lot of breeders, and multiple tanks but i have since cut everything down and im more or less "not active" in my cichlid hobby much more. I do still have my 360 gallon show tank and my 125 gallon mbuna tank. I hope this introduces myself enough... I dont know how much i can do as I dont even know what tanks I will have or bring with me. I wont be doing any breeding, but still may be into some auctions, trading etc, but ill be sure to help with any input etc that i can. Here are some links to some stuff. Some of my fish on my website have died and some look a lot different... but i havent had time to mess with it.

Hi David,
Welcome to CCA. Maryland is a good place to live.

Lots of people here keep cichlids. Most of them are on the CCA forum, and those who are a bit more avid about their fish are members of CCA. Whatever fits your style works.
Meanwhile, there are lots of people with tanks here in MD. One could sell, then move to MD and buy a tank here. (oops obvious I guess). Post what you want on this site. It could well happen.

I am looking forward to meeting you at CCA one day soon.

Welcome David Husker!!

I believe you have purchased some fish from me a while back ago. How are they doing by the way? Sad to hear that you possibly have to sell some fish, but, on the other hand these guys up in Maryland are really cool. I have meet a lot of them last year at the ACA convention and they are good people!! They definately know their stuff when it comes to fish!! Did I mention they are very helpful too? I am sure that if you need anything that any of these guys will be more than helpful in steering you in the right direction!!

Again, welcome to the BEST CICHLID club in America!!

:jumpy: Now, where do I sign up to get this chick at? :)
