Assuming Zack hasn't become attached to them and reconsiders which would be completely understandable, was thinking corn meal and a little salt.
Actually just a raise and release into my landlord's goldfish pond. Pretty much zero chance they'd ever manage to colonize anything else unless they could navigate the sewer system. Used to be a couple in there, assume the raccoons or Toyotas got them. You have an idea?

Emerald tree boas would certainly be cool. I always wanted those as a kid as well...
