I'm new around here. Haven't kept any cichlids in about a year. I've been into piranhas. I've got one left and I'm trading him to a somebody from another forum tomorrow. I plan on getting back into cichlids, and dogofwar sent me over here from MFK.


Just thought I'd say hey. Looks like a cool site.

actually I picked up a pair of F1 Archocentrus centrarchus from dogofwar yesterday. Nice to meet you Matt (if you're reading this). They're settling in nicely. I didn't know so many shades of green existed! They're so pretty. The female looks like she's about to pop, and I swear I saw an egg randomly drop out of her egg tube today while she was swimming around. I'm in love. I think I'm gonna name them Heloise and Abelard. They're in a 37 with a pair of goodeids that I got from Matt yesterday, and 3 dalmation orange platys I picked up from tropical lagoon today. I just added a clay pot, a new piece of driftwood, and I tied some java moss onto it with some fishing line. Everybody seems happy. They're so much cooler than piranhas (but dont tell that to my piranha buddies!)
