Rotkeil (red Shoulder) Severum Part 2

While we are on the subject of severums...(Marge, I apologize for hijacking your thread.)

For those who have spawn severums, what kind of spawning sites do the severums need? I've read about flat stones and flower pots. What did you use?

The big pair of greens that I have spawned on a piece of driftwood stick. I thought it was sand at first until I went back later and saw the 'sand' gone. I couldn't figure out why the dwarf pike and the redpoints were hanging over there....Now I know. Time to move fish around again.

I've added one large rock next to the driftwood in the rotkeil (red shoulder severums) tank. Now let's see if they know what to do with it.

First they swam around it like it was foreign and in the way. Now they sit behind the rock like this :happy0012: :happy0012:

By the way, the 5 black-skirt tetras never seemed to notice the rock at all.
