Removing aquarium frame

Does anyone have any pointers on replacing the top frame? I thinking about replacing the one on my 220.

Is the current one broken? If so where? I just replaced the top frame of my 125 about a month ago. If you can reuse the current one use angle iron over it or metal strip bent in 90 with the holes every inch if you cut triangle out where the corners are it folds into a perfect 90 hard to explain if you want the details of what ibdid let me know

Inside of the framing fits the outside of the tank"snug"..center brace fits f lush to top of framing..so frame fits over..center braces sit on tank..

The previous owner broke the two center braces so he fabricated these metal braces. I just want to remove the entire top frame and put a new one on just because it's an eyesore to me. So I really just like to know the best way to remove the top frame

Small tanks its easy big tanks and older tanks its much harder seems like they use much more silicone on those. I can say all thay secures it on is silicon but I can't say how you would slice it all the way around to remove the piece
