Rainbow cichlid pair from Sept. Meeting

I bought the pair from the meeting last month, not sure whose fish they were but the male is a stunner.

Cool! No signs of activity with the pair yet, I do have the tank they are in kept a little busy with other fish. Do they prefer some space?

I've had them spawn in a quite busy tank. The pair was in a very crowded tank until recently, so there was really no chance of a successful spawn. Once I removed most of the other fish, the female seemed quite interested in spawning, but I did not see eggs or fry before I put them in the auction, but that was only a short period of a few weeks.
