Otopharynx Lithobates Holding!!

Had a male and female since they were about an inch long. Kept them apart when they got larger, been together for a little over a week and the female is holding. Of course she is in a display tank that I really do not want to take down. Not holding in this picture, just a photo of the two of them together.

She spit the fry today. Of course it is in a fully decorated show tank with a bunch of hungry males. I have seen about a half dozen hiding in the gravel behind some rocks where the adults can't get to them. Now if only they can make their way to the overflow and "go over the falls", then I could get them into a grow out tank. :D

Got 4 of them when I took the tank down and set it up for my Tropheus. Got another batch of about 30 a week or so ago. These are a slow growing species and the males take a long time to color up.

Yep. I have 1 male and 2 females. I am going to see if there are any other females at the warehouse and probably pick up another male. The male I have is REALLY aggressive, I can not leave the females in with him more than a day or two at a time.

Dude, I just got my hands on a male Yellow Blaze Otopharynx Lithobates and he is awesome!

Great Pics by the way. All I need right now is a couple of Females, see if you might have some at the warehouse for me Mike.

Apparently, Bob P. seems to be too busy to return calls so you are my next of KIN.

You're right, as soon as marriage hits, you might as well hide your money in a mattress or the Cayman Islands.

From the single guy..... A D80 is a very good mid level DSLR camera made by Nikon.

I'll see if there are any more females, I may have the last 2 we had.

This was my first DSLR camera. You can get photos as good as these with a Point & Shoot type camera, but you have to work a little harder it.
