Rumor has it that there is a new fish store on Rockville Pike in Rockville just down the street from Congressional Aquarium in Wintergreen Plaza. I live right by there and am going to try to check it out/see if it exists tomorrow afternoon. I'll post again with updates and findings!

Well, I stopped by this new store a couple of weeks back and am sad to report that I was not all that impressed. I still had the "itch" to buy something so I mossied on down to Congressional to pick up some stuff in order to pick up my mood!
The new store was really small and cramped and, at the time, not too well stocked. But hey! it's a new store so that is understandable! The personal was very friendly, though, so that's good. It's a really teeny place and just not much there. So I'm sad to report that this shop (name? not too sure...but it's in wintergreen plaza as I said in my previous post) isn't all that great as of now. I'm sure it'll pick up after running for a bit so I'll check in on it in the months to come and see if things have improved!

the name is Aquarium One. The owner and all employees are fellow hobbyists. It's a boutique store which will also have a strong reef segment.

Oh I agree with the reef section! They already had a lot of nice tanks filled with salt water fish and everything! It is a small store but they did have a varied selection of fish which I did like. I definitely recommend everyone to check it out if they are in the area. I had simply assumed it would be a larger store as I was caught off guard with how large Scales turned out to be!!
