New Babies

After the last meeting, I stopped at Scales on the way home. Rick McKay was there and
pointed out some Rams that I believe came from Frank. Since I had just bid and lost on some at the meeting, I took a look. There were several that were paired off. I decided what the heck and took a pair home.

I stuck them in a 10 gallon tank with a little Java moss and a clay pot. Nothing else.
These guys are so small, around an inch and I just added food for a few days.
I guess they are happy, what do you think?
I will try to get better pictures later. I hope I can get them to eat. Baby brine is too big for them.

Nice!

I've always been particularly fond of German Blues..... And I think they are one of the few species I know where the female (in my oppinion) is prettier then the male.

If you knew they were coming, you could have hatched your own brine. ;)
Try Cyclopese. It's a powder and small enough for most fry. It's real easy to overfeed so exercise caution.
Congrats on the fry.

I did add some newly hatched, but the shrimp are almost as big as the fry..lol
I ground up some NLS GROW and squeezed a sponge filter in there like I do for Cory fry. They are picking around the
Java moss.

Of course they are happy.....You threw in a bunch of baby fish for the to eat! :FIREdevil:

Well done!

I am just gonna start making up imaginary spawns (already have imaginary friends), no one ever comes down here to check anyway!

Let me know if you want to come down one weekend, I'll take you and Tracey to lunch. Of course, you have to help me lift my 150 off the floor and onto the stand. I got it in the house by myself, but just can't lift it 30" on my own (I tried...it didn't move)! :smashfreakB:

Where there is a will, there is a way. I got the 150 on the stand, by myself. Probably feel it in the morning. WHEW...
