Nematodes in fish?

I think that one of the Emperor Tetras in the 150 has nematodes... there are white worm things that I can see - one in a pectoral fin, one in the abdomen (might be more than one there, who knows).

I could catch this guy and send him to an (ice) watery grave, I could try to treat (what is the treatment and where can you get it?) and just assume if one fish has got it, they all do, or... I don't know, is there another option?

Maybe anchor worms? Thought nematodes in fish was primarily an internal issue, but not an expert on that.

In any case, haven't had that issue myself, but I've heard of people successfully using API General Cure (combination of Metronidazole & Praziquantel) for anchor worms-- also various flukes, etc.-- and it's an easy med to find.

They are internal - definitely a round worm, not segmented. I'm trying prazi-pro. It looks like they probably start out in the intestinal tract and then spread to muscle and fin tissue as the infestation gets critical. The fish that's showing signs I've had since June and the worms only recently became visible. Definitely internal.

I have a TON of Leva if you need some, I have like 3 kilos... just call me scarface. I have Fenbendazole laced flake food too if you need some. One or both will take care of that for you. I lost some show angels when I was first gearing up to callamanus and invested heavily in a drugs. I have 2 microbiologist friends into fish that advise me what to use and having to possibly treat a 3000g system means lots are used. I did get conflicting info on dosing with Leva, the Tropical Fish Pathology Dept at the Univ of Fla says Leva is supposed to be dosed at 76 mg/10g whereas most sites say 500mg/10g. I can say that treating at 500mg/10g makes them "freak out" badly. Univ of Fla told me this was due to the dosing, but every site I stumble across says 500. The only other source for this is inkmkr (just google that one) and I have 1 of his bottles and that is his dosage.

Can't see image but Here's pretty much my go to reference for meds. Explains what's effective for what and what meds are effective in what water conditions. For example, some meds that work in soft water are ineffective or less effective in higher pH, calcium in the water, etc. Or, prazi not the best med for nematodes, but is good for trematodes.

I have Levamisol. I get it from a farm supply company in Ohio. Not at home now but I'll post a link once I'm home. everyone advices to vacuum your gravel also

I am starting to suspect that it is Dermosporidia/Dermocystidium (hence the PP)... still, mulling the proper course of action.
