You are going to want to use the L number to identify your pleco rather than the trade name. According to the aqualog, datz and the now defunct plecofanatics.com, red tiger does not exist as a pleco name. Tiger does however, but is (unfortunately) used to describe other plecos with similar banding.

Thank you sir! I have another species that I can't find anything on. I bought a plastic species so my girlfriend can take some good pics. Wait until you guys see my Giant Marbled Peruvian Whiptail and my Loricaria lentiginosous!
