The Mount Joy Rotary Club is dedicating a memorial to the men that died during the Malmedy Massacre, many of which were from the 285th F.A.O.B with whom my father served. The memorial dedication will be at 3:00 pm. at the church of God in Mount Joy, PA on June 14 at 3:00 p.m. After a service for those that died, we will walk to the Memorial Site. The Memorial includes eighty seven flags that Harold Billow put out yearly for his lost comrades. In addition, there is a section remembering the eleven Lancaster county members of the 285th F.A.O.B. that will include my father, Tech 4, Harold "Hati" Hinkle.
