ok I kno what this basically is. The thing is I have never used it before and I was wondering if any one haas or heard of this particular brand its Seachem Liquid Discus Buffer PH. to 5.8-6.8 (Net250 mL) 8.5fl oz. I have a couple blue rams and some bristle nose plecos and I don't want to harm any of my fish including my Discus ESPECIALLY MY DISCUS. So if any one has any suggestions or comments on whether or not I should put it in my bucket water that is fresh RO. WATER that has a thermometer to keep the exact same temp as the tank water would be.so I wanted to kno whether or not I should mix it in with the bucket or tank water?? Thank you so much I would really appreciate it. Jimmy N.

Discus buffer is a waste of money. Ph is not all that important. Hardness is what counts. You can even get your Discus to spawn in hard water but your eggs may not hatch. Use R/O water to take down your hardness and forget about Ph unless you are putting CO2 into a planted tank.

R/O equipment too costly? Check out Aquatic Eco Systems on the web and find cheap R/O units.
