Hi all,

This is my entry into the BAP program. This is the first time I breed any type of fish, and I'm doing my best to keep water parameters stable and grow out this fry. They've already started free-swimming and took their first 3 meals of bbs. Now I just want to keep things nice and smooth. Here are the pics of the spawn.

Thank you everybody. Just wanted to post an update, so far so good with the fry, they are still looking good and healthy and with a strong appetite! Its been very rewarding so far going through the breeding process.

Hi, I just saw your post, I hadn't checked in a few days. This particular one is not a jar from Angelsplus, but works the same way, I do have some of theirs.

The jar works very well, and is a good environment when used correctly. I unfortunately lost this spawn on Friday (only saved 7) when I forgot to turn the air line back on and it stayed off for about 4 hours... :( I have another spawn that is 5 days younger than this one was and now I never leave the tank until all air is back on after feeding. It was totally my mistake.

I will still continue to use the jars though, as until my mistake I had only lost about 5 fry out of the whole lot.
