Well, my new favorite catfish is called Syn.
I was lucky enough to get (3 Syndontis Petricola from Armices River according to the bag), (from Tropical Fish lrotpiciajes????? Bag too smudged to read that part. The last info on the bag I think says price 19 or 12 each).
I put them in quarantine along with (according to their bags)
3 = Brocus Splendins Emerald Green cory catfish 4 inches (seller 9-8)
11 = Malawi Hap Ruby Green (from justRon seller 5-05 BAP points) critically endangered
Only two of the Syndontis survived through the first 2 days in my tank. All of the cories and haps are doing well, along with the 2 Syndontis.
The syns are really beautiful little fish. Very amiable and always on the move. They're neatly patterned a soft brown with many large black spots. With their black tails and fins outlined in white they look dressed up.
Now I need to know 'what to do and when to do it' to keep my new fish happy. Would appreciate any suggestions - even those you think are tooooo obvious.
Later,
Marge
