Hello everyone. I'm andrew and new here. I started gerting into african cichlid about a year ago. So far I have pseudotropheus crabro, metriaclima lombardoi, labidochromis caeruleus, pseudotropheus estherae, aulonocara nyassae, pseudotropheus acei, pundamilia nyererei, labidochromis caeruleus nkhata bay, pseudotropheus williamsi north, and a few placo. I never intended on my fish to breed but so far iv had the blue peacocks, red zebras, kenyi, and a electric yellow breed. I'm going to get the williamsi blue lips to breed! If anyone wants any blue peacocks or kenyi let me know we have hundreds!

Sounds like you've jumped into Malawi cichlids with both feet! My kind of guy.

What size tank do you have? Got any pictures?

Needles to say with all of these fish I do frequent water changes! I forgot one of the 30s that I have made a 3d background in, I still need to add either gravel or sand, undecided right now, once I make up my mind I'll add water and let it cycle. But I want to just have the williamsi blue lips in there until they get a little bigger. I got them from a guy named bill on the east coast at 3/4" and they are about 1.5-2"now. Hopefully I can get them to breed and introduce them to the aquarium community here in iowa...I know of only one other guy in iowa with williamsi :(
