My name is Lorne Williams and I attended the meeting today. The talk was great and now I'm interested in Gymnogeophagus. All the people I talked to seems so welcoming. I've always been interested in animals, especially fish and with fish, cichlids. I was active in the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society's Breeder's Award Program and got my Master Breeder Certificate from PVAS. While at PVAS, I really became interested in cichlids and joined ACA and while attending ACA Conventions, met people from OCA and started attending the OCA Extravagaanza. Wanting to do something with cichlids closer to my area, a few friends and I founded the Capital Cichlid Association. Wow, you guys have really grown and kept the club running. Now I'm starting back with Central American cichlids and I look forward to fellowshipping and sharing this great hobby with you all.

Welcome back! Sorry I didn't get to meet you (that I know of) today at the meeting. Thanks for being a part of the start of this awesome club. Always good to see another new world keeper in the club. What species are you keeping?
