I use planted tanks, and I'm working on a southeast asian swamp biotope. Heavily planted of course, because that's how I roll.
I did rescue about 30 green terror fry from an acquaintance. She had a pair of green terrors that spawned, and she was about to 'get rid' of the fry.
So I put 30 cichlid fry in a semi-planted tank I had. They were under 1/4 of an inch.
I've been trying to 'rehome' them. I've sold/given away 20. Now I have 10 cichlids in a 10 gallon, with 2 or 3 of them approaching 2 inches.
Anyway, I'm getting a 50 gallon temporarily, and just want to keep them healthy while I'm forced to keep them.:wacko:
