Okay, that's 3. Need at least that many more just for this issue.
At least. Maybe more depending on the size of the articles. Last issue was great, can we better that?
And we need a heck of a lot more if you guys like havin this.
So who is writing about their fish for BAP points?
Who is telling us how they got into the hobby.
Lots of ideas are out there. Lets see some.
How about a do it your self.... home made tank, fish room construction, home made light assembly...new reflector, fish filter material.
Someone could draw a cartoon for it......?
Review of a camera or lens for phis photography? (oops, spelling)
How do you modify a product for your use?
Something written about the trip you take to North Carolina for the workshop?
Review of the NEC convention in April?(next issue)
Come up with a list of household items you use in your fish room that work great even though they were not made for fish... You know the old nylon holding the filter material type of thing. ACLA did a whole meeting talk on it. 3 members brought all the little kitchen and other items they use in the fish room and explained. Put it in writing.
There are always more ideas.
I used to always do one called " I made mistakes, why should you" explaining mistakes I made in the hobby and how to avoid them. I made lots of mistakes.....I know someone else has too. I know I am not the only one to ever make a mistake and learn from it.
How did you make that breeding cave.
Give me time, I will come up with more...lol

Well, I Did promise a genetics article, and I Am researching it, but the field is advancing rapidly so the stack of peer reviewed scientific journal articles on my desk - dining room table - top of CPU - in empty tanks - is, well BIG.
Fortunately for me, and maybe ya'll, one of my closest friends has a PhD in microbiology and does genetics research at the cutting edge - lots of Pinot Grigio etc. at all hours of the morning.
Might start a series of articles beginning with a discussion of terms and an overview of the topic. Anyone that wants to contribute can PM me and we'll talk.
Other than that - Amanda wants me to write about my first breeding (fish) experience; before electricity !! Might just do it.

I know some of you have turned them into Francine recently but we need a lot
more. A LOT more.
Also there will be an important announcement at the meeting Saturday about the Biotope.
Will you be there to hear about it?
Will there still be a Biotope?
Will Pat pull out what little hair he has left trying to get articles?
Or does he just give up, shave his head, and change his email to cueball57?
Find out Saturday. Same bat time, Same bat channel. or is that Cichlid Channel and time.

Sorry--the last few weekends have been really busy. (Francine came by my table at the March meeting and gave me a talking to.) :unsure:
