I’m in the process of converting some of my tanks to planted and pulled sand from my two 75g tanks. It was enough to be 1.5 - 2” deep in the 75’s. I believe it’s pool filter sand and not play sand but I bought 15-20 years ago so no longer positive. It should be snail free as the tanks were dry for about 10 years. I suppose it’s possible that some might’ve migrated from my current tanks and are hidden in there. Unlikely, but no guarantees. You shouldn’t have to rinse the sand at all. Lastly, the buckets aren’t part of the deal lol. Either pay me $10 so I can buy new buckets or bring your own containers. Located in Clarksville 21029. Thanks!
