Fish Only Keepers - Anyone Need Used 48" Flourescent Bulbs?

I have been trying mostly unsuccessfully to keep plants with my cichlids and have been replacing the bulbs over my tank every 6 months. I have four 48" T-12 40w tubes that have a lot of life left in them but are no longer good for plants. Nothing special, Philips 6500k bulbs from Home Depot, two for $8 new. I'd say they have a slightly greenish color to them compared to the 50/50 bulbs I used to buy. I also have two other bulbs that were special plant bulbs and have a slightly different color. If you want them, they are yours, otherwise they are headed for the trash.

where at in columbia? We goto the Target nearby once a while or Central library once a week..[/b]

I'm 15 minutes from either the Target or the library (everything is 15 minutes away in Columbia. No more no less.) Just get back on 29 south and off at the rt. 32 exit and it's another 2 minutes. Whenever you're next around let me know with a PM here or at cichlid-forum. If I am home I can show you my tanks which are 1/100th of what you saw over at Daniel's. If I am not around, I can leave the bulbs on the porch.
