My personal opinion... plecos are deceptively hard to photograph well. I have been challenged in trying to get them sitting out and about at all... get all their bits in focus before they wriggle away... and this is a stunning fish.

Great photo and this was an all around great contest.

Thanks you all, this fish was in the tank for several months before he was comfortable enough to show himself with the lights on. I think he has gotten to know me since I spend several hours a week cleaning up his poo. Some mornings it appears as if a large dog stopped by my tank to relieve himself during the night
