ExCichlasoma genus no more!

Check around Facebook (I'd post a link but I've only got my iPhone and pasting the link is a PIA) for links to a paper that has split apart the old catch-all exCichlasoma genus. There are 8 new genus described, although several only have one species in each.

Maskaheros (regani, argentea)
Kihnichthys (uffermanni)
Cencelichthys (pearsei, bocourti)
Rheoheros (lentigenosis, coeruleus)
Oscura (heterospilus)
Chiapaheros (grammodes)
Mesoheros (festae, atromaculatus, ornatum)
Trichromis (salvani)

Wonder how long they will last?

If someone finds the link to the article, I'd love to read it.

No. Most of the fish listed above were orphaned to exCichlasoma as a catch all genus. They have been split into 8 separate genus.
