My Lake Tanganyika biotope is almost finished. I just need some small shellies. I have a six gallon Fluval Edge. I live in Alexandria, VA.

I bought some Escargot shells from World Market. My fiance and I searched and searched for Neothauma Tanganyicense shells, but everywhere we looked was sold out. How many multies do you have? We'd like 4 females and 1 male. I know that they are hard to sex when they are young. How much do you want for them?

Why pay for shipping, when you can get some great ones from Caleb at the meeting? To each his own, though! Just sayin'...

If Caleb has enough, I'd be interested in those. By the way, I'm new to this. How does a typical meeting run? Sorry for all of the questions!

Usually runs from 2 pm to about 6 pm. Typically, folks get there a little early to set things up, of course. You can coordinate with Caleb about your transaction with him... often, people will either get their a little early to take care of that kinda thing, or they do it after the speaker finishes or near the end of the meeting itself. Once the speaker is done, there is a mini-auction. You can usually view what is going to be in the auction before the speaker gets started, if you get there early enough... and there is usually a few minutes after the speaker is finished and before the auction actually begins, where you can view the items in the auction also.

That's about how it goes. Oh... almost forgot... there's food and soda and things like that as well.

Yeah... I'm originally from Harrisburg, but I've been here since '84 now... so I guess I'm used to it. Definitely a bit of sticker shock from most places in PA though! Higher paying jobs, though, as well. LOL...

10 might be two many for a six gallon don't you think? We have enough shells though. $20 is a good price. Thanks so much!

That of course depends on which fish you want.

Caleb's multies are going to be great fish, but noone in the club has raised their hand to say they have any Golds. My little golds refuse to like each other. Prolly all males.

And, that would be a most excellent point! LOL... sorry... failed to click the link to see what it was pointing to, before blindly posting that. DOH!
