Can a frontosa go 2 weeks without...

Im keeping him in a separate small tank due to his aggression, but I dont have an extra fish feeder and im going to be out of town for 12 days. The frontosa is about 5" burundi type. Can he survive that long?

Should i stuff his face the day before?

Kinda long but they're predators... Feed well prior and I'd bet he'll be OK.

That said, couldn't you have someone throw him a few pellets a few days in?

He should have no problems. Don't the females hold for 3 or 4 weeks? Also being a predator, they likely feed infrequently in the wild.

I think trying to tide him over is risky to water quality. Definitely try to get an extra water change or a little bit bigger one if possible.
