Braceless 125, what to do about tops?

Recently brought home a 125, it's thicker glass and doesn't come with center braces, can't seem to find tops for a tank like this? Any suggestions? Need something ASAP as I need to move my arowana into it and they are jumpers

You could glue glass strips to the inside where the top would be resting. One strip would go across (from front to back) in the middle. I have a tank like that.
