I have two pies of keyhole cichlids in a tank with some ancistrus. I've been meaning to move them since their eggs kee getting eaten by the catfish. Today I noticed that they managed to defend their eggs and have a nice nest of wigglers.

Congrats Christine. I really don't know much about Central and South American cichlids but I'm trying to learn :D

Wow - one of my favorite cichlids!

I've never successfully bred these guys - parents always eat eggs or wigglers. Sounds like yours are doing a good job :)

Fingers crossed...

We'll see. Figures that they spawn right before I'm going to be away for the weekend and I don't have a good place to move the wigglers to at the moment.
