How do you get registered? where is the button? Does it actually work?

Go to the top menu (under the CCA banner) and click on the Big Fish Deal tab. It will take you to the BFD menu page and you can click on the register tab. There you can select what type of tickets you need and further down the page marketplace tables.

The event starts 4 weeks from today! Good time to start planning early. Pay for the registration and hotel now so you're not spending all of the money at once during the event. Stretch the fish budget!

Ive got a question about the donations for the rare fish auction. Ive got 100's of Astatotilapia Burtoni fry. Would these be considered rare since they breed like rabbits?

They're definitely not common that I've noticed, so they'd be fine for the auction. Let me know if you're interested in donating a group, its as simple as bring them in bagged, and dropping them off at the tank racks. Just let me know what you brought so I can record it in the auction system, and list who brought it.
I'll set up another thread regarding donations, we gladly accept donations from members. One thing to remember is that we get a much more diverse audience at BFD than our standard meetings, so some things that seems common, might not be to everyone attending.
CARES fish are always a great choice, we like to have as much variety as possible, but we don't include things such as convicts or yellow labs. I'll evaluate on a case by case basis, but its rare I have to turn something away.
Event starts in 2 weeks! Get your registration in, book your hotel room if you plan to stay, and reserve a table in the marketplace if you want to sell anything sunday.
