Anchoring Jungle Vall

I just started a planted 75 with Valls and as much as I bury the roots in my PFS the intake tube seems to uproot them. Besides rocks, what is a neater way to anchor down these Valls? Thanks.

I've also occasionally glued a few of the plant's roots or stem to a small piece of slate and buried the slate in the substrate. I also have used hollow Fluval filter media where I'll glue or tuck the plant stem in the middle of the piece of media and bury that in the substrate. Or just set it on the substrate and let the plant grow over it (for plants that don't like being buried like Anubias or Java fern).

The filter media solution is a great idea, Christine. I'll certainly try it. Thanks!

do you have tweezers? shove them down far enough and it will be fine. problem is, with any substrate, that when they send runners they tend to go outside of the substrate..
