Yes, I'm figuring that out, my prior tank had feather rock and I had probs with the F Rostratus doing sand dives under the sharp rocks. not all the time, but especially around cleaning. I'll probably move towards more granite in the haps tank then and work towards obtaining more lace rock for the mbuna. I've gotten 120 pounds so far and think I need about 100 more to fill the tank the way I want. I checked out your pics on flickr // Nice! I'm even more excited about Sunday now! I'll probably ask you a lot of questions about photographing. Right now my method is sticking the cell phon camera against the glass and hope the fish stays in the frame long enough. You can see my prior pics in my gallery

I'm also moving to replace the substrate in the 150 with sand. when I do the move. the 3M colorquartz sounds great if I can find any. I'll use a sump to prep the sand and get the BB growing on it prior to the move across the basement.
Thanks for everyone's input thus far, it has been really helpful about things to think about. I consider myself to be an experienced fishkeeper. But corresponding with some of you on the boards has really pushed me to a different level of thinking.
