Any body have any? I have one looking for a mate for mine I am thinking its a male but at >3" still pretty hard to tell. I would like to find local instead of ordering online. The place I got my last one has a 50 dollar minimum plus shipping. Just not ready for that purchase ATM. Thanks for any help
I'm looking for a good quality place to pick up some juvie Parachromis Friedrichsthalii or Motaguensis. I'm in the Baltimore area, but wouldn't mind traveling a little bit for good specimens. Let me know if you've seen any recently at a LFS or if you breed them.
I was able to catch them last night as she began laying eggs and as they fanned and guarded the new spawning.

There's a thread on the ACA forum about free Parachromis sp. La Cieba... Anyone interested in splitting shipping? I figure that we'd need 3-4 to make it pretty reasonable...

Got these guys from Rapps not too long ago for 20$-25$ (not sure) at 4" and they're really great looking. Selling because the big cichlids just don't do it for me any more.
I'm asking $25 each for the smaller two. (I believe they're females)
I'm asking $30 each for the larger two. (Male and...
I have been noticing a pair forming in my group of Parachromis friedrichsthalii and today I have eggs! Well over 100 from what I can see (in a hole on the backside of a large piece of driftwood). I will keep you posted.
This would be the daddy!
If anyone is interested in this fish I will bring some down with me on Saturday. This is the undescribed species of Parachromis. Here's photos of the sub adult fish. PM me if you are interested.
