Matt! That looks like a female umbee! Males never get black eyes and the spot while defending fry. Maybe that is a Rio Ocello umbee trait but I would live to see more video of this fish to better confirm sex. Drew

I have a 210 sitting over a 125 no sagging and no center brace. It is the technique used to construct the top that prevents sagging. And my span is actually 7 feet not 6. Drew

A bifa pair would definitely work in a 150 gallon tank. For life I wouldn't reccomend extra tankmates other than dithers. Mostly because I've personally seen bifas get over 15" that's a big fish in a 18" wide tank. In the short term 2 years or less it should work fine. You could add additional...

A few have asked for pictures of the beasts so I figured I would do an update. Here are a few shots of the male and female. Male is 15" female around 9". Really intense coloration on the female in her breeding dress.
