Hi everyone, we are planning to go on a freshwater collecting trip! For everyone who joined us for our last adventure collecting brackish fish, you know how much fun this is!

Our fearless leader, Kevin, will be leading us again. Exact location is TBD, but will be somewhere in MD or VA. Our planned date is JUNE 29 so mark your calendars and let us know if you'll be joining us by responding to this thread. Hope to see you there! More details will be shared as the date approaches.

Carol - Do you know if it'll be a saltwater, freshwater, or brackish collection trip and if we need a fishing license?

Sounds like a great trip, unfortunately (?), we'll be en route to Alaska. Maybe I'll catch some fish there! By the way, you may not need a license for non-game fish like darters and daces. But better check with DNR.

We needed one last time and Kevin also confirmed we would need one. Have fun!
