Huge aquatic plant ID

cool! looks like anubia to me, unsure what species though-

i had A. gigantea, different leaf pattern but about te same size.

That was exactly what I was going to say - looks like anubias but the gigantea variety has a different leaf. If someone gave them to you, that's awesome - these things are $$ to buy.

I'd go with Anubius afzelii because of the long pointed leaves, but it could also be an emersed form of Anubius gigantea.

Any leafs that are out if the water start to dry up
So it's a totally submerged species
There is one plant with a different leaf pattern
Most of these plants are over 2 feet

thats gigantea like what i had. they dry because they need a very humid set up to keep well emersed... or a very tall aquarium so it doesnt break the surface
