First post here guys, seems like a very knowledgable group. Have 2 hap / peacock tanks, a 125 & a 90gl which we run canisters on. When we received a shipment of fish the female bicolor 500 came holding so we have 35 fry.. Had them in a 10gl with just a sponge filter but they are growing...

Sup folks,,, I'm thinking of adding a canister to my display.. Just a little info on the tank, It's a 180 upstairs which my plumbing drops 16ft down to my basement which hits a 60 gallon sump, then drops 2 more ft & hits a 200 gallon Rubbermaid tub before it heads back up to my display...

Well I had to get an emergency 55 gallon tank. Short version of long story: 75 gallon tank in living room sprang a leak on the canister filter spewing 40 gallons of water on living room carpet/transfer all fish and remaining water to emergency 55/take down 75 to allow carpet to dry out. Now...

Where can I find some good looking green Terrors locally. I am on a boycott of PetSmart. My local Petco has them and the fish section is kept up. But what about the real LFS? I know what Tropical Lagoon has but what about the others.

Looking for suggestion s for a colorful cichlids for a ten gallon tank. The tank is in my daughters room ad she said they have to be colorful. I don't think shellies will do. Not enough color.
