Hi Guys,

My prized angel has this strange, short, red, tiny, pointy little thing at or coming out of his anus. Doug says it's the calamus worm and I need special deworming food to treat my angel. He has no signs of health issues and eats fine, but this super tiny red spike seems unnatural. It resembles calamus worm pics but I'm not positive, and I don't want to treat with the wrong meds. Thoughts? Pics are hard to get.

Jungle makes an anti-parasite food with levamisole in it. Most fish with camalanus stop eating at some point. Most fish hate this food anyway. Regardless, it is worth a shot. If the angel won't take the food, try soaking the food in garlic first.
