I have a chance to get either one of these tanks. Dont worry about cost as both are in my budget but can only get one! a 150 72x18/28 or a 125 72x18x21. This will end up be my red belly pirahna tank. Thanks for the suggestions and help. I can only get 1!

150 is what I have. The only disadvantages of the height difference is that with the 150 its a little harder to reach in to clean and harder to get light for plants.
But all in all, the 150 makes for a better display.

I'll be the odd "man" out. Unless you've got long arms or like getting soaked every time you have to do anything in the tank get the 125. Do P-ranhas really need that much vertical space?

Plus all the stuff about light for the plants, of course :)

I can lift one side of a 125... 150 not so much. I'd go 125. Or, if you're already stuck with needing three friends to help move, go for a 180 or 210.
