What is this fish

I wanted to know if anyone could tell me what this is. I got it from a pet store that said it was a convict, which I knew was wrong but no one knows what it is and I can't find any pictures online of anything like it.

Looks like a nimbochromis livingstoni, as a juvenile its harder to tell the pattern, you'll be able to tell beteer as it gets larger. If it is, they can get to be 10" or more.
